Three weeks till Xmas...

Whilst filling in my day at work..I found some quiz's to do and I took an IQ test...ummm I did very poorly...I know I am not intelligent or anything but man has my number decreased!!! Was also thinking/worrying about when I do get a new job (have about a month left in this job woo hoo) that I have forgotten how to work and use my brain...umm can't stand having 9-5.30 job....ahhhh need to find new and exciting job..but what...umm ultimately I would like to work for myself....would love to own a bar or something....work nights, sleep in and do the books in the afternoon..yeah..
Hump Wednesday.....I have a sleep in today because I have another flippin blood test (surely if it was something bad they would say something...right) had da radio on and the public transport employees are going on strike so everyone is struggling getting to work etc..I laugh in bed thinking that everything will be fixed after my appointment...but no stupid tube station is shut and I have to get on a (shudder) bus...took agggeess to get to work (usually 20 mins..that's quick in London)...You don't realise how good the tube is until it stops working..
But have been looking for someone to fill my room...my housemates (the ones I don't like, I like 80% of my housemates) are like...we don't want well.. foreigners in...(They would vote Pauline Hanson if she was running...) errr what do you think we are in England!! Ummm well I still have another couple of people coming to have a look tonight.... But had 4 people come through last night and heard nothing...so have another 5 people coming in tonight..so hopefully some gold will shine through...I did have this sweet French student ring me up from France (i hate to think how much the call cost) she's a student having trouble finding accommodation (she's in London for 6 weeks but not till Jan, mind u I did say on my ad that I want to move out this weekend..) but she sounded so lost so I told her I think it's best if she stays at a hostel or find a temp room, she was so grateful! See I can be nice and useful to people!
Ummm going to 'School Disco' in Hammersmith, ummm I am sure it's going to have fugers there and the music will be shite but hey when in Rome..you'd think I'd learnt my lesson from Carwash... (Hindsight: It was really fun and I had a great night, myself Tina and Jane went along with some others unfortunately I had packed my camera away and we assumed the others were bringing there camera..but they were like we forgot ours too hoping that you bough yours..ummm but yeah was a really fun night..played good music, I was really surprised too..funny was the last song was a snow patrol song...I love it!!! Everyone one's what what's this crap song..... Oh yeah and weirder is that I saw Patty and Mick from Busabout at School Disco, I keep bumping into them…WEIRD!!!

I spend too much time on myspace...need some web friends to keep me busy during work.. speaking of myspace I found my good old mate Lauren LoRicco, and she passed on Rebecca Wilson’s page to me (we all used to go to Colac West Primary School together) wow can’t believe she’s married! Hahah still think I am only going to be the only 24 year old in my year level that isn’t married! Haha oh yeah and Tahnee Moore had a baby!! ahhh
Is it wrong to judge people on their taste in music and the shoes they wear? No offense but I can’t take people that listen to shit music serious….
Have you seen my room on youtube? It's tiny and covered in photos...and crap just thought that I am going to have to take them down on the weekend.....but my new room is going to be awesome..I am going to have a double bed yippy!! and the after having a shower I will feel clean and not dirter after it..can't wait!!!! (Hensight: Have moved out..yippy..am living with Tina till I move to Edinburgh woo hoo!!!

Woo hoo TOOL tonight...it's my way to celebrate Jade's Birthday!


Haven't been up to much. I saw Muse last Tuesday was amazing I was sooo impressed with there show! And my fav song was played at the end so it was great! Only slightly annoyed they didn't play Muscle Museum but hey I am happy! So had a good night until the tube ride home...well I stupidly took the wrong tube line home and I ended up in Moor Park (in Zone 6) which is somewhere in woop woop. Took me ages to get home..only added an extra hour to my trip!! ahhhh very tired at next day at work!!

How quick is the post in the UK I sent Jade a pressie for her bday on Monday and it arrived on the Friday!!

Didn't do much on the weekend, finally finished my book (was Bryce Courtnay, so took AGES and left me feeling depressed...really need to stop reading his books always leaves me sad..) But need to save money...I hate being poor so Tina cooked me dinner and we had some weird coconut dish... We had heaps of coconut milk left over so we decided to go to the offie and get some malibu and pineapple juice..and then it was pina coladas for all!! For once we didn't get caught in the rain on the way home!!

I really want to go ice skating. There's a rink close by but it's like 10 pounds (a rip off) so I am not too sure about that yet...

Also I'm getting ride of my room in Willcott Road...Moving in with Tina for a bit before I head off to Edinburgh..woo hoo and it will save me some mulla, not to mention that Tina's place is sooo much nicer than mine..hahah

Umm I really need to do some Xmas shopping and get the pressies off too!!

Well another Monday...another day of sweet fa!

Got to go see Wolfmother on Wednesday worked out really well actually...Tickets sold out months ago and then Jane rings me at like 6.30pm, I have a free ticket to Wolfmother!! I must admit I did heistate for a minute because I just put on my trackie dacks and a face mask...so I put the old black jeans on (jeans starting to get really tight.....must lose some weight...but how?) and tube it to Brixton, yes been there twice in a week now. Wolfmother was great as per and I was right at the front so had a nice view (no tall people or smokers), only pro being right in front of the Marshall Stack so I couldn't hear very well the next morning!

Also went to the Oz vs Ghana soccer match, that was really good too, I am noticing that alot of guys are talking Movember quiet seriously! haha but we had a really good seat like 3 row from the front (did u see us on TV??)



Weekend was boring...dragged myself to the gym determined to get ride of donut induced shape...not going to happen..must accept it... Went to the Redback (is around the corner) was full off mingers and fuglies! They played a couple of good song but the rest techno!

Bloody CD player has cracked it and won't play and my ipod earphones have stopped working too (did have a month of just one side working) so it's just been radio...am going crazy...

MUSE tomorrow!!!! FINALLY! can't wait!!

You know how I have been complaining that I have been feeling like crapola lately, I got my blood test back! Said I 'had' Glandular fever...ahhhh gross must stop licking the poles at the tube station...However must have been a mild case because I have been feeling a hellavalot better the last couple of weeks and good to know that I am not a hypercondriac!!

Hey hey another boring Monday morning at work.... Well the days are getting darker and colder at the moment, everyone slept in at work today was weird actually. I come in like 30 minutes late and there's hardly anyone here...ummm on Friday I put folders into boxes and got given a dessert for my troubles...I have no purpose....there was an article in the TNT mag about volunteering, I am really feeling the need to do something positive at the moment..yes I know that I complain ALOT but I have been looking back this past year and I have like gotten, visited and done everything I set out to do this year....I don't really know how this came about because I certainly didn't deserve it.... I read there are some programs that I could help sea turtles in Costa Rica..or help orphans in Africa....but then I will probably take the selfish option and go on another holiday... (As I write this, my friend at work who we buy lotto tickets together..said we won, £6) but yes, went on a hen's night on Saturday night with my housemates, was ok but a couple of the girls completely wrote themselves off (not me) so they slowed us down..therefore missing out on getting into the Redback (not a bad thing) so it was party at Willcott Rd, sure the neighbours complained, a window was broken and the place was wrecked the next morning...good night all up! Haven't really mentioned my housemates much, they are fine and I get along with them fine (mind you I think they think that I am a little weird...Ha but who doesn't)
Sunday another wasted day..went to a My Chemical Romance concert at Brixton Academy, have been looking forward to going to Brixton for a while is a really good venue...sure myself and Cath were probably the oldest people at the concert (avg age 16) but I still had a good time, Cath is a massive fan and I only knew the popular songs..Man how good is the line up for Big Day Out!! I want to go! Well if I have anything else to complain about u will either read it here or get a lovely txt from me!!

Guy Faulks - Car Wash Weekend ugh!

Saturday we have a going away party of some friends, it's a this place called Carwash (It has a pool...ummm must be good..) you have to dress up either 70's, 80's or 90's glam or you don't get in..so we went shopping in Ealing Broadway which is only up the road for me and it's really good shopping never realised it was there till Tina pointed it out, silly me would shop at Hammersmith, well not anymore.. So Tina and I found these horrible (see the photos) matches dress for £ 5 mine a black with gold sparkles and Tina's blue with silver sparkles... So the night was very interesting....the club was ok (I got asked for ID, no one else did, I mean come on I have silver make up, a dress and high heels and I STILL GET ASKED FOR ID!!! ahhhhh surely at 23 I must look over 18!!!)..they played ok music..there were two rooms, r'n'b (shudder) and then just 70's-80's so had some dances, was good...

(Errr we are like soooo totally really really good looking...nah can't believe I left the house looking like that!)

Tina and I head off, it was soooooooooo cold outside... that I said the first bus that comes we get on..wasn't the right bus but got us to Waterloo...sure it took two hours to get home but we got home ok!! Not alot else going on I really need to saved some mulla for more holidays... Was thinking about meeting Jess and Todd in Helsinki because found some cheap flights...but want to go to Amsterdam too..need to find some CFM boots still...ahhh everything sooooo close I keep spending too much mulla..



For the past week or so there have been fire works going off at all times of the day and night and I get told it's Guy Faulks night coming up...so on Friday Tina and I got off to Chapham Common to go watch the fireworks show, was good but I have seen better haha nah it was really good..but it's soooooooo unbelievably cold at nights so we went to pub and had some drinks to warm us up! But have put on soo much weight decide to do a spin class, ooh my god that is was the worst pain when I finish I nearly had a spew...and my legs the next day could barely walk let alone climb stairs...Mind you I am going next week again haha

Back in Paris - Photos

Get to Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport looks awesome, some weird fairy floss colours all over the place. It was very grey too which sucked but hey we're in Paris so who cares! We took a shuttle to the other end of the airport to pick up Jess (Mez and I lived with Jess in 2002, unit 1 Beaufort House reunion!)..Forgot how huge airports are and can't find Jess anywhere..But then we hear the familiar sounds of Jess and she hasn't changed much in the three years since we've seen her! We then spend a couple of hours getting around the airport and trying to work out what tickets we need to get to our hotel.. Finally get to hotel was a little further out of Paris than hoped, but what should I expect when the rooms were 12 euro a night but still was fun to stay in bunk beds again haha! Anyways we go to Montmartre and head to Sacre Coeur..of course we stop off at a supermarket and pick up some yummy cheese, baguettes, that yummo eggplant dip I had last time.. some wine etc... by this time it was around 5 pm and had become a beautiful afternoon...so we spent our time walking around Montmartre and stopped in a pub had some very expensive drinks..

When it became dark we walked around the red light district and visited the Moulin Rouge! Didn't have a late one because we were stuffed from travelling.. So we went back to our hotel for the night.. Saturday we went into Paris and did all the touristy things, Mez and Jess went to the Louvre to visit Mona and Milo, I went for a walk along the Seine and stopped off at my bridge, was nice to be back but pity about the weather.

Later we got some pics at all the touristy spots, met some kiwi's, asked were we were from, they said I looked like I was from Melbourne, best comment I have had in ages...besides someone who said I looked French later on in the day...Went to Notre Dame again.. We walked around the Latin Quarter and got some cheap falafel, I have been looking for a book for dad but couldn't find it..

We decided to go on a cruise on the Seine, Mez and Jess got some Barets, I had mine from previous visit, so we donned our Parisian headwear on the boat and had some lovely shots taken.. We walked from Notre Dame to Eiffel tower, took about 40 minutes or so







Later on when it got dark we climbed the Eiffel tower whilst it twinkled..

Spent Saturday night drinking horrible Champagne (Just call me Bubbles darling, everybody does, Champagne for everyone) and tried to have conversations with people that couldn’t speak English was funny I got out my French phrase book haha
Wake up really early and forgetting that it was day light savings...and I forgot that for some reason everything is shut on a Sunday in Paris , so there goes our day of shopping, dang because I really need some boots and a jacket it's getting sooo cold at the moment..



We make our way to Arc de Triumph walk around there and walk up and down Champs-Elysees, then it's time we make it back to Charles de Gaulle.... Mez and I say bye to Jess as she is flying back to Switzerland (Lucky girl is currently on a three week tour of Italy)...Mez and I get seats together this time....we forget that daylight savings happened so when we arrive back at Heathrow at 5pm it's pitch black.

Poor Mez has another flight back to Edinburgh so we hang around the airport for a bit then she checks in and I tube it back home to Acton which is only about 20 minutes...Big weekend back to work on Monday!!
