I love Munich

Have spent the week here in Munich and it has been fantastic! The weather, besides one afternoon of rain has been beautiful, shorts and t-shirt weather everyday!

I have spent my days in Munich walking around the English Gardens which is like the largest in Europe and they even have a man made river which people can surf in!! (pictures to come)!

On my first day I went on a walking tour of Munich which I got to take in all the sights and I got talking to a girl from Melbourne, so I am like oh so you have probably heard of Colac then, she is like yeah I know people from Colac! haha she knows Heath Spokes and Amy Shulzts!

Have also met up with some others that I met in Edinburgh! So have been having with them going to German pubs and other various pub crawls that Munich has to offer!

Have also met up with my friend Kevin from America that was on the Walker trip, so we will be heading off to Prague today for a couple of days! We need to escape the soccer madiness!!

Alive in Munich

My flight to Munich went without a hitch, got on the s-bahn and found my hostel easily!

The only problem I am having is with the keyboard, the letters are all over the shop..

Well this is going to be my itinerary for the next couple of months! I am going to start off in Munich and follow the loop! Once I get back to Munich i hope to go to the Greek Islands for a couple of days and then Spain for La Tomatina festival (you know where people pelt each other with tomatoes)..

So fingers crossed that my funds will last and i'll keep you updated on the blog!

We bloody Lost!!

Ahhhhh in the dying seconds!!! Nooooo

Dang Totti!!

That was sooooo not a penalty!!!!!!

Why did we keep getting the shitty refs!!

Ahhhhh

HOwever it was Mez's 25th birthday!!! So the day wasn't all disapointing

Oh yeah I forgot.
A couple of weeks ago we went for a hike out in the country side near Surrey, it was a hour train trip.. saw some pretty sights and some naked hippies!!

Bye bye London and hello Europe

Well I have only a couple of days before I head off to Munich. So I will be washing and packing up my clothes and living out of a backpack for the next couple of months.

Have again spent the last week working in Richmond and Waterloo, so nice to have some mulla in the back pocket! I had to hand write some invites out!!! those know, I have shocking hand writing, I hope the people who receive my hand written invites weren't to disappointed.......

How fantastic was the Oz vs Croatia game!! I went to the Red back again to watch it, I scored some free budweiser merchandise, I don't think that I have seen anyone drink a budweiser here besides the US! But good to see that Harry Kewell pulled out a equaliser to put us through to the next round (which is actually today Oz vs Italy @ 4pm) which is a surprise after the horrendous umpiring from the english ref!!!!

Went out friday night to the Metro, got told I would really like it and it turns out I have been there before. It's the place Jane took me when I first got here.
It's this great little club that plays top music. It was a nice change to dance to bands like, We Are Scientists, Zutons & Raconteers etc... usually I am stuck in places that just play 50 cent and beyonce, so I am loving London!! We went there with a few people that we are staying with and their friends, this American guy said he couldn't understand me...said I talked to fast hahahaha

So much great live music to see, I am a little bummed because the day I am leaving Muse are playing and I am going to miss wolfmother too!! But hopefully I will be able to catch those guys in Europe somewhere!!

Still no new pics as yet, haven't been anywhere to exciting, well I did go to the British Museum but I didn't take my camera because I assumed that I would not be able to take photos, but of course when I got there I found out you could..I'll just have to go back again...

RIP Ollie!

I have been given the sad news that my beloved cat, Ollie (aged 18 & half) passed away! I can't believe it, she has been alive forever and I hoped she would!

So it has been a sad time for me....

However this means that I can no longer ever feel this sad again and it will be happy days from now on!!

Went to an Aussie pub (The Red back) to watch the Australia vs. Brazil match! It was full of bogan Aussies so felt right at home, but the funny thing is that in London you can get into places with thongs (flip flops) on but in Australia including Colac you can't get into places with thongs on!

Also got invited to a 'dance party' that required an internet invite (sounds safe enough) was a little worried because I don't like dance music, well I like Fisher Spooner & infusion but that's about as dance/techno as I like...But it turned out to be quiet a fun night, I drank Vodka again (didn't I learn last time..must stop) and danced the night away, it was ok because they had like three different rooms, so I stuck to the 80's/90's room, had a good night dancing on tables to NKOTB, MC Hammer etc and woke up covered in bruises (I distinctly remember 'tripping' on the dance floor, I am sure it was very dignified......umm)

Have also been working in Waterloo and Richmond…..fun fun

Going to Munich in a week woo hoo! Can’t wait!!

Heat wave in London

Heya!

It's a hot day here in London town, around 28c! I did not believe London could get this hot and it's only June! London has just gone crazy with the hot weather and the world cup, it's nucking futs!

I haven't been up to much these last couple of weeks, mainly because we have been house sitting (which we relinquish today) and I have worked four days this week!!! ahhh it's been a struggle considering I haven't worked for over a month! We have been helping out with an events management company and I have been ringing the exhibitors for their details... I usually hate talking on the phone but after the 100th you get used to it! I worked with a guy named Luke Perry haha poor guy...

My PA skills have paid off and I have been asked to do some work for another event management company, it's only for a couple of days! Not bad considering I haven't attempted to find any 'real'work just yet!

I will be heading to Munich on a one way ticket in a couple of weeks, not too sure what my plans are from then, catching up with a few people and hopefully meeting a few more!

In the meantime I will be watching the world cup (go Oz!) we are thinking about hiking/camping next week in the Lakes District...not sure I'll keep you updated!

Haven't taken any pic's for a while.. don't think u need to see my pasty white legs in shorts...

Even more

I love animals!

More Zoo Photo's

Just thought that more animals would make this look better!

I can't believe that they have cows at the zoo!

London Zoo

Hi again!
We decided that a trip to the Zoo would be a splendid idea for today! It is quiet close to the place we are staying at. Unfortunately when we got to the actual Zoo we forgot that it was school holidays. So the place was full of young children running about the place! But here are some pictures that we took! Enjoy.
